Okay. A lot of this is tres cool. But this shoot seems, more than the others, even, to have, like twelve year old girls. Which, yep, has all sorts of moral/societal issues, but, even beyond that, makes me not want any of the clothes because I'm like: Um, these clothes are for 12 year olds. Is that not a thing?

very very true, yes. especially the way the hair and makeup are done - they're very late-junior-high sort of styles. which, in a way, makes me a little more okay with it? cause they're not trying to make 17 year old girls look like adults... but then again. yeah. it's something i do struggle with in this biz.

did you see the awesome interview with tavi? i'll send it to you. where she talks about her early years attending fashion week, and how there was this whole 'you're a CHILD! you don't belong here!' backlash... and she's all 'ummm... this is an industry that fetishizes youth... hello?!'. she's awesome.
