two thakoon

we're gonna kill two thakoons with one stone. as they say. (??)

thakoon addition. first. great cut-out-collar with a collar on top. and excellent stripes.

thakoon. makes me wish i still went to easter mass. (okay, not actually. but. you know.) that fourth ensemble? dream easter mass outfit. i guess i could wear it to easter brunch instead. although brunch is hard on the lace gloves that i would surely want to wear with... drat.

both. very fine pastel backgrounds. nice one.

hey. thakoon. i would like to give you a hug, please.

this collection was not a total knockout for me... there were a goodly amount of pieces i didn't care for at all. or at least didn't care about. but the ones i did care for? well. they are so sexy. there is something so simply, womanly, sexy about these dresses. no? yes. the hips. the skirts all hovering just above the knee - not too short. the slits. dignified. sophisticated. but so so sexy. and the different ways the collarbone and chest are framed or the balance between being hidden and being exposed. yes. i think these are some classy pieces. i am especially taken with the two grey dresses. (funny how thakoon pre-fall was kind of sweetly girly to me. and now we're more mature. they grow up so fast...)

and the kitchen-wicker-chair-back weave on image 2. ha HA! fantastic.

i'm going to say sexy a few more times, just to really hammer it home. sexysexy.
