mark fast makes me a happy happy girl. i want all the dresses, i love this collection. BUT! the hair. who styled this?! nightmare. nope. there's witchish craft muss, and then there's whatever is happening here. nooo. no. disagree! bleh.

remember remember

remember in spring 2010 how mark fast hired reasonably normal sized models for his runways show? and it was exciting and refreshing and a bit scandalous, especially since his clothes would have to be considered body con aka made for INSANE SKINNY! i liked when that happened. i just wanted to take a moment to remember.

sigh.

back to present day. mark's collection is beautiful and wonderful and there is a rosey-cream, and fringey bits, and (as per usual) creative use of knits, and volume and tightness, and really awesome hair. hooray all around. but there are also only skinny model bodies, which  is a shame. even though i love me a skinny model body, and they're, you know, on all the runways and therefore what i expect... well. there was that glimmer. back then. of other bodies. and mark fast. and so i get a bit more sad when those other bodies aren't around anymore in his shows.

sigh. again.

but do enjoy the collection. it is good.
