anna sui is kinda like eating too much candy. hurts the brain. soo soo sweet and hippie-ish and WWEEEEEEE we are 13 years old wooooo! but every now and again there is an undercurrent of dark, and then i get happy. it is still incredibly young. but. you know. a little bit of where the wild things are in with all that spun sugar.

i don't much care, though, for those below the knee tights. feels done. that was a hip young styling thing we were doing 2 years ago. and now it just swings into avril lavigne-ey. which is basically like saying my-least-favourtie-thing-ey.

traps

i am enjoying, now that i have more sculpted ballet-shoulders, the racer-front, sorta t-shape neckline that is happening quite a bit these days. batlestar galactica-ey. (how influential has battlestar been for fashion?! i bring it up all the time! or maybe that is just me. stuck in a space-rut. that is very possible.)

i'm thinking a lot about veils, lace, sheer, and covering. that which is there and that which is covered but obvious and that which is obscured completely and lost underneath. i'll get into it maybe another time... in an art-ier talk. but. yes. there is something big in that for me. there is that and it is circling around in my head and heart.

burberry! great coats, yo! way to keep the trench hip and cool. that pink and red number on kate king? it is awesome sauce for sure. and those little shoulder-cappers are smart as heck.
