slowly unravel

there are times when i'm fairly certain that a designer is sitting down with his/her team and saying to them:

'with this collection, let's really work towards breaking erin k hooper right down to her core bits until she is curled up trying to hold herself together and crying and crying. yes?'

i'm sure. that this happens. i am sure they know about me and what fills me up and breaks my heart. they must. right? well. tse. (creatively consulted by brian reyes.) you win this round.

greyandgreyandgrey. and comfort and restriction and weight and space and trying to hide and being exposed and oh so much textureandtextureandtexture. this collection is hard on me. (and, also, i am completely ignoring the style.com review which says he missed the mark on this one. because. well. he didn't. for me. sure, i don't know the brand all that well... maybe it's off for the brand. but. whatever. it is beautiful.)
