here we go a-falconing

rule #17 of falconing etiquette. when your beloved falcon dies of old age, have her made into a hat to honour her memory.

(this is a very nice balance of costume-y and fashion-y. not too goofy, not too serious. also, i know it's a strange thought, but i wanted to add a line to romeo and juliet... thanks to this galliano. 'a plague on both your houses... a bird on both your heads.' (you know! cause a bird in the house is a warning of death. so. a bird on your head? warning of tragic love suicide pacts. am i right?!) it is also noteworthy how pleased i am that galliano himself is gone. bill gaytten is doing a fine job. and even before he proved to be an ignorant hateful man, i was always put off by galliano. i think maybe it was his hair...)

i don't know about the grey cheek makeup but the drapery on the last is as gorgeous as burne-jones. With the hair blowing and raccoon eyes, maybe she's supposed to be walking in a storm by a moonlit loch...in heels.
