i think i might have to look at this every day. as a reminder of how the right hair and makeup can make such an amazing difference for clothes.
this collection could've gone a few ways, including pretty girly-sweet at times. but with that sophisticatedly dirt hair, and that exactly right winey-red lip, even a pink dress with a giant bow looks grown-up and sultry. and i love a semi-slip-look. the mixing in of occasional tougher fabrics (tweeds and the like?) keeps it from being too 'she is wearing a SLIP!!!'.
and goddamnit katie nescher in the last look. i am so madcakes in love with her this season it makes me wanna throw stuff. it is killing me.
