oh hi. my mom is here visiting. which is great. we're going places and doing things. so i'm busy and stuff.
but. quickly! i do have an important question for the internets.
how do i wear wolfy?
remember wolfy? my amazing swaeter-coat by genevieve savard? i love wolfy more than most things. but she's hard to wear. because she is AWESOME. and navy. and black. and long. with shoulders... anytime i go to wear her i tend to just end up in black pants because i don't want to take away attention from her goodtimes. but that's no fun! black pants?! dull. useful, sure. but boring. a bit. today i branched out and wore this:
wolfy coat, obviously. longsleeve t-shirt from joe fresh. skirt and shoes from urban outfitters. socks from h & m forevers ago. tights from i-don't-remember... ring from grandma h. (an early birthday present that arrived with mom. it's my birthstone! aquamarine!!! i love it so.) photographer special guest: mom! (one day, maybe, i'll get a real photographer involved in this, and the photos will look less, well... dark and blurry. maybe.)
so i ask you, internets, how would YOU wear wolfy?
(here's what it looked like when i wore it for the ad campaign and lookbook:)
all photos taken by erin prout. styling by tara gillespie. makeup by katie mason.
meanwhile! mom and i went to a taping of the george strombo show today. jim bryson and the weakerthans were there. (but that didn't air tonight... mystery!) it was fun times. here i am hanging out with glen gould outside the cbc. we had a great chat.
and, lastly. today's most unfortunate event. when we got home, the lizard had been drowned in the water dish. margene is a monster.

great photo details in the subway, stained glass skirt flowers and the glove stripes!
For what's it's worth, I would wear wolfy with a knee-length or shorter skirt in darkerish colours, solid or patterned.
looks grrreat! if we had the photo shoot to do all over again, i would say maxi dress all the way, right to your ankles and killer heels, of course.
