the olympics are over, and just like after anything you love so much ends, i am a little heavy, a little tired, a little blurry today. i want harmony and soup and writing by thoughtful, soulful women.

carol diehl wrote and performed this poem 21 years ago. 21 years. that is almost my entire lifetime ago. definitely more than my entire adult lifetime. it is an argument i have constantly. here today in 2014. hi. howdy. if you have the stomach to look at the comments at all, you'll notice that diehl's post has been targeted by mras cuz misandry. fun times, 2014. super fun fantastic times.
