carven feels quite 'moonrise kingdom' which is great because i looooved that film. do not be surprised if i start wearing black eyeliner with blue eyeshadow and carrying around a kitten in a basket. (it's like that movie crawled in my brain and was all 'hey, erin, what's the best thing you can think of? a kitten in a basket? okay! great!!') cute cute cute cute cute cute cuuuuute.

just when i was starting to worry that maybe this mcqueen wasn't the collection for me - feeling awfully bell-bottoms and david bowie*, which i'm not really showing here - along came image 5, and the inappropriate shouting of things at my computer screen because holy hell love, and then the bird brocade and i didn't have anything left to shout so i sighed a whole lot and everything was wonderful.

*not that bell-bottoms and bowie is a negative. i love bowie. and i don't HATE bell-bottoms... but it just wasn't getting the shouting-sighing that i always hope for from mcqueen. until... you know.

we're gonna kill two thakoons with one stone. as they say. (??)

thakoon addition. first. great cut-out-collar with a collar on top. and excellent stripes.

thakoon. makes me wish i still went to easter mass. (okay, not actually. but. you know.) that fourth ensemble? dream easter mass outfit. i guess i could wear it to easter brunch instead. although brunch is hard on the lace gloves that i would surely want to wear with... drat.

both. very fine pastel backgrounds. nice one.
